Follow the Money?

Some rather eye-opening numbers on the amount of money that is currently pouring into distressed debt funds, according to The Deal:

Funds managing distressed securities held $105 billion in assets in 2007, up
from $70 billion in 2006 and, just to put the industry into perspective, only
$934 million in 1990.
